Welcome to New Worlds.

Here you can download new multiplayer maps for "Populous The Beginning "

Our maps cant be added to the game, we have to use excisting maps' names, so we simply replace the 2 and 3 ways.

This means you wont be able to play 2 and 3 ways when you have our maps installed, though you can still join or host normal 4 ways

All players must have the same maps installed when playing New Worlds,

to make sure everyone installed correctly launch a single player game and check credits

If someone forgot to install and everyone freezes just take the CD out and when the popup appears click on cancel!!

FREEZE PROBLEM WHEN PPL FORGOT TO INSTALL OR INSTALLED WRONG SOLVED, Check Info at Dark Worlds.

All Mappacks below are updated and finished, even "Oil Worlds ","Sand Worlds" and "Ice Worlds" are Re-releases, they are incompatible with the ones from the old website so make sure to DELETE "Oil Worlds (FINAL VERSION)" ,"Sand Worlds Full.exe" and "Ice Worlds Full.exe" before u download the ones here

Some of the New Worlds have a new sky, it isnt included with the Mappack Installers because they would get too big. You dont have to worry about freezing when others dont have the same sky installed cuz they are compatible with all other normal skies.

Sand Worlds Sky - 2,4 MB

Ice Worlds Sky - 497 kb

Blue Worlds Sky - 1,8 MB

Dark Worlds Sky - 501 kb

install a mappack or New Sky by clicking on the mappack/New Sky's name.exe and make sure you check if the install path is correct before you click on INSTALL

*Its very handy to put the mappack installers in a specified folder (ex: C:\program files\bullfrog\populous) or put them on your desktop because you will need them alot if you want to "switch" mappacks.
we will soon make some kind of "Mappack switcher" to make this even easier...

Use The New Worlds Uninstaller 1.0 to restore the normal 2 and 3 ways!

Make sure you stay up to date with most current uninstaller.

The New Worlds Uninstaller 1.0 deletes MULTIPLE CHOICE mapname which is added after installing Dark Worlds, any previous uninstaller doesnt!!!
